Syncing Your Stores Using Google Sheets in Mapstore
Step 1: Use the Provided Google Sheet Template
To ensure compatibility, you must use the provided Google Sheet template as a starting point. Access the template using this link and click "Use template" to add it to your Google Drive.
You can now start adding your data by following the template.
Step 2: Formatting Your Store Data
To ensure your store list functions properly within Mapstore, adhere to these requirements:
Required Fields:Name (The name of the store)
Address (Full address of the store including street, city, and postal code)
Do not leave empty rows in the sheet. Empty rows can cause issues when syncing.
Each row should represent a single store location.
If latitude and longitude are missing, Mapstore will use the address to determine the location.
Step 3: Publishing the Google Sheet
Once you've added your store data, you need to publish the sheet to make it accessible to Mapstore.
In Google Sheets, click File > Share > Publish to web.
Select Entire Document.
Choose Comma-separated values (.csv) as the format.
Click Publish and confirm.
Copy the generated CSV link.

Step 4: Syncing the Sheet with Mapstore
Once you have the published CSV link:
Open Mapstore in Shopify.
Go to "Manage Stores" and then "Start Syncing" under "Sync with Google Sheets".
Paste the URL into the provided field.
Click Enable sync to enable syncing automatically, or Sync manually to sync the sheet at any point.
Troubleshooting
Stores not appearing? Double-check that the Name and Address fields are filled in for all rows.
Incorrect locations? Ensure that the addresses are formatted correctly and consider adding latitude/longitude values.
Empty rows causing issues? Remove any blank rows from the sheet before publishing.
